U10 : Universe of Distribution
U10 Group was formed from the creation of L3C, its historical company, in 1994 with the strategy of making available to a broader public the world of interior design through a concept of merchandising lines sold on a self-service basis at major distributors in the discount segment.
In 1999, L3C was listed on the Marché Libre of the French stock exchange and achieved annual sales of €10 million. From this date, it has pursued a strategy of external growth to expand its offering of products following the same concept.
In 2004, 10 years after its creation, L3C was renamed U10 and had annual sales of €100 million. In 2006, after importing its concept of merchandising lines/specialized corners, U10 expanded into China acquiring a majority stake in its historical partner. Through this acquisition, the Group acquired a new dimension and began to export creations and ideas from many countries.
15 years after its creation, the Group had sales of €175 million and a staff of 400. Operating mainly in the textile, household articles and underwear lines, its offerings now includes a catalogue of more than 20,000 articles sold to customers in more than 30 on all continents.
